Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world

Two years ago (goodness I can't believe it was two years ago) we attended a friends wedding where I wore this beautiful dress that I had picked up in Warehouse for a steal!

Ever since I have struggled to find shoes to go with the dress though. The colour according to the tag is brown but to my eye it looks like a pinky/mink colour. As you can imagine this has made finding shoes a bit difficult.

Black is too much, nude is far too pink and antyhing printed just clashes with the detail of the dress. One of the regular stylists that I meet through work recommended a pewter coloured shoe, but I have struggled to even find that. Everything seems to be silver and bright silver at that, so again just too much for the dress.

Finally after months, now years of searching I stumbled upon these beauties in Debenhams! The gold and pinky colour mean that they complement the dress nicely plus aren't too high, which during this season has been harder than you think. Everyone seems to think we want 4" + heels. For someone whose already 5'7" I don't need 4 inch heels, and am quite happy with 2.5" and 3" heels.

Anyway, I'm so excited to have found these shoes as we've a family wedding to attend next month and this soon after Christmas, while saving to pay for a wedding means that my wallet just won't stretch to a completely new outfit. Plus these shoes are so sparkly, that I think they're going to become my conquer the world shoes!!!
