As many of you may be aware Newbridge Silverware’s Museum of Style Icons is located very close to where I live. Due to this fact it got me thinking about what constitutes a Style Icon? Is it age, is it style or colour? Or is it just timeless Beauty? Going through the museum you will find pieces worn by many, from Audrey Hepburn to Grace Kelly, from Marilyn Monroe to Maureen O’Hara, even Michael Flatley to Princess Di. The pieces featured while synonymous with certain time periods are still as stunning as the day they were first slipped on. These pieces created moments in history and hold unique memories for every single person they have come into contact with.
