La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+

As many of you may know from my other skincare posts, I have struggled with problem skin for many years. Finally after a lot of trial and error, I found that gentleness was key and was mostly happy with the routine I was using. However, while I was able to deal with the spots and clear them up. I could not dodge an oily T-Zone and this continued to plague me until the day I ran out of my Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance K and I turned to my box of French pharmacy goodies I had picked up while on holidays. Enter stage left - Effaclar Duo+ by La Roche Posay. I had picked it up in France due to the fact that it was nearly 10 euro cheaper than in Irish stores and because I had heard nothing but good. I have now been using the product for nearly 3 weeks and I am most definitely in love. First off this little tube has done what so many others have not...tackled my oil slick!! At the end of the day I now only have a small bit of oiliness where before two hours into the day it was breaking through and by the end of the night my skin was becoming irritated by the amount of oil. Secondly, it helped with redness I had left over from a shark week spot and helped speed up recovery on a stress spot on my forehead. All in all I am absolutely delighted with this product and will be purchasing again. It has now taken pride of place with in my arsenal of French favourite Eau Thermal Avene.
