Today I thought I’d tell you about some of the books that I'm looking forward to reading and rereading over the colder months. I'm obsessed with books and am always looking out for new adventures. Below is my list of five favourites and new discoveries.

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I was so excited when I heard another film version of one of my favorite books would be coming out later this year. Sadly, the movie has been pushed back for a 2013 release. But that hasn’t deterred me from going back and rereading this Jazz Age classic.

The Legacy by Katherine Webb. Two sisters. One heart breaking secret, and a past that can't stay buried. If you love a good mystery, this is the one for you.

Mistress Shakespeare by Karen Harper. If you're a Shakespeare - file like I am, this book is for you. Discover the real love of Shakespeare and how she shaped his works.

The Kitchen Boy by Robert Alexander. Ever since I was a child I've been obsessed with the Romanov's and Grand Duchess Anastasia. What really happened on that July night so many years ago? Did anyone really survive? This book will keep you wondering from start to finish with a number of twists and turns. Don't ever think you know the truth.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This is a beautifully written book about innocence and World War II. Remember words and books are powerful things!
